Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Dwight Larson back to the firm in its Minneapolis office. Larson rejoins the firm as a partner focusing on construction and energy matters.

He frequently works with construction contractors on complex matters involving energy projects, large and highly-visible sports venues and large commercial projects, along with a broad range of public projects.

He also handles work relating to government contracts for clients in the construction and energy industries.

"We are thrilled to have Dwight return to the firm as his nationwide experience providing legal support for high-profile construction projects will expand the firm's ability to provide exceptional service to energy, real estate and construction clients," Stinson's Business Litigation Practice Division Co-Chair Steve Lindemann said. "Dwight has developed tremendous experience handling complex construction matters spanning multiple areas of business and law."

Most recently, Larson served as general counsel to Mortensen Construction, where he led the legal department and supported the company's sports, wind, solar, government contracting and manufacturing businesses, among others, since 2004. He also served as senior counsel to Honeywell after serving as a construction associate at Leonard, Street and Deinard, a predecessor to the now Stinson LLP. Larson is a licensed professional engineer.
