Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome William (Bill) Hopkins as a partner in the firm's Health Care & Insurance Practice Division.

Hopkins brings decades of experience advising a wide range of institutional and individual health care providers through complex regulatory, transactional and litigation matters. His practice spans state licensure and federal certification, regulatory compliance and enforcement in areas including post-acute care, medical staff and credentialing issues, peer review and investigations by regulatory agencies, as well as transactional and litigation needs. He focuses on providing clients with legal advocacy, real world solutions and proactive guidance to anticipate and mitigate risks.

"His leadership and insight not only enhance our work across the health care spectrum but also expand our presence in key geographic markets."

In addition to his legal work, Hopkins is actively involved in the Texas community. He currently serves on several non-profit boards, including the Austin Symphony Orchestra, the People’s Community Clinic, the Central Texas Chapter of the American Red Cross, and Half Helen. He has also held leadership roles in numerous nonprofit and professional associations, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to civic engagement, leadership development and mentorship.

Bill is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western District of Texas. He earned his J.D. from the University of Texas Law School and a B.A. from High Point University.
