Clients turn to Aimee to resolve environmental and energy issues with precision, deliberately assess risks and focus resources on sustainable growth for the future.

Overview

Aimee is uniquely adept at helping clients resolve issues with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army of Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service, state resource agencies, and public utility commissions. Her clients range from essential utility providers (drinking water, wastewater, gas and electric utilities), industrial scale manufacturers, critical metals producers, groundwater management districts, local governments, and drought-impacted water right holders.

Aimee's knowledge in areas under the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, state water rights and prior appropriation laws, as well as state utility regulation makes her especially proficient at long-term infrastructure and resource planning around shifting environmental and energy policy. As artificial intelligence (AI), energy, and critical minerals initiatives surge, she stays particularly involved in developments regarding data centers, water use/reuse, groundwater, waters of the United States, per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS), coal combustion residuals (CCR), effluent limitation guidelines, long-range transmission planning, and other associated areas.

Outside of her environmental and energy law practice, Aimee enjoys keeping in touch with her family from Guam, co-chairing the firm's Environmental Practice Group, co-chairing the First Generation Attorney Task Force, staying active with her family and spouse, mentoring young women in her profession, and building equity and supporting the arts within her community. Prior to joining Stinson, Aimee served as deputy general counsel to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, advising the department in governance, contract, environmental and employment law matters.
