Colin fosters strong client relationships to grasp their unique challenges and offer informed counsel for both short- and long-term success.

Overview

Colin litigates construction, commercial and insurance disputes on behalf of general contractors, subcontractors, developers, suppliers and landowners. Beyond litigation, Colin helps clients protect their interests and bottom line through arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods. He also drafts, reviews and negotiates prime agreements, lien waivers and other construction-related documents to mitigate risk and prevent disputes.

Colin has significant experience handling mechanic's lien claims in Missouri and Kansas. He successfully pursued and resolved numerous lien disputes, including a large-scale matter where he secured full payment plus attorney's fees and interest for his client by strategically placing a lien on an entire platted development of 84 distinct parcels.

His background as in-house counsel and project manager for a local asphalt and construction firm gives him a valuable perspective and insight into daily activities and pressures.
