Haley helps businesses resolve intellectual property and commercial disputes and navigate evolving data privacy laws to protect their innovation and achieve their business goals.

Overview

Haley assists clients in a wide range of business and intellectual property litigation matters, working on complex disputes across various industries. She guides clients through every stage of a dispute, from early case assessment and discovery through dispositive motions, appeals and arbitration. She regularly handles patent, trademark, trade secret, trade dress, and copyright actions in federal courts nationwide.

Haley also counsels businesses on compliance with state data privacy laws. She reviews clients’ data collection and handling practices, identifies compliance gaps and drafts privacy policies that work across multiple jurisdictions. Her litigation experience helps her spot where privacy practices could create disputes later.

Before joining the firm, Haley served as a judicial law clerk for the North Dakota Supreme Court.

In addition to her legal work, Haley has a passion for exploring the world. Originally from Canada, she broadened her horizons by studying abroad in the Netherlands and has now visited over 25 different countries.
