A natural problem-solver, Luke finds solutions to client needs without sacrificing efficiency.

Overview

Luke is a strategic thinker who understands the demands of business. His practice focuses on labor and employment law and business litigation, where he prioritizes workable solutions that achieve excellent results for his clients.

Luke represents and counsels clients on a broad range of matters, including employee restrictive covenants, wage and hour compliance, and employee claims of discrimination. He also handles employment, traditional labor, and whistleblower matters – including the defense of AIR21 claims before OSHA and administrative law judges – for clients in aviation and aerospace industries. Luke appears in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, and he advises employers on employment, labor, and wage and hour issues outside of litigation.

Luke's experience includes drafting dispositive motions and appellate briefs before numerous courts. He has achieved successful outcomes for clients, including multiple summary judgment victories in federal court as well as favorable summary decision awards in administrative proceedings involving whistleblower claims. Luke litigates regularly and enjoys advocating for clients in all phases of litigation. Earlier in his career, he practiced at a law firm in Northwest Florida, where he represented employers and businesses in a variety of matters. Luke maintains law licenses in Kansas, Alabama, and Florida, and he continues to represent clients in Florida and Alabama courts.

Luke maintains an active pro bono practice. He has counseled pro bono clients regarding immigration issues and drafted appellate briefs in immigration matters before federal courts of appeal and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
