When millions of dollars are at risk in tough venues, Megan doesn't flinch, litigating complex lawsuits encompassing all aspects of the litigation process.

Overview

Megan has defended major United States (U.S.) corporations against hundreds of threatened and litigated class actions, multidistrict litigation (MDL) and other complex matters throughout the U.S., with particular emphasis on consumer class actions and financial service disputes. She routinely handles trace chemical claims involving 1,4 dioxane, arsenic, benzene, benzophenone, cadmium, lead, mercury, parabens, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), phthalates, and other chemicals. She also focuses on labeling and website claims like biodegradable, compostable, cruelty-free, eco-friendly, "free from," natural, natural origin, non-toxic, pure, recyclable, and sustainable.

Megan is often called upon to dig into a case when the facts and the law truly present unique or difficult challenges. Her clients frequently seek her counsel regarding claim substantiation, raw materials, supply chain, quality and regulatory chemical screening programs.

As a former co-chair of one of the firm's most prominent litigation divisions, chair of its recruiting committee, and member of its diversity committee, Megan has an in-depth knowledge of firm resources. She is committed to resourcing each matter with the best-matched and most well-rounded team.
