Stinson LLP Partner Marc Weintraub is featured in a Daily Business Review article, "Although Transactions Have Chilled, Some Fla. Dealmakers See Warming Conditions."

The article highlights the uptick in activity involving mergers and acquisitions in Florida and focuses on the shifting tactics from buyers to close a deal.

Weintraub says he is seeing "strong transactional demand in health care." He notes that he, along with several Florida-based attorneys, are observing "M&A buyers increasingly target distressed sectors harmed by interest rate hikes." He provides insight into the major trends within Florida's deal-making market, including what is driving such trends. From the buyer's side, Weintraub notes deal-making activity is picking up as a result of "Florida's recent influx of wealthy families."

Weintraub is a seasoned corporate attorney and business executive, adept at representing clients negotiating multimillion-dollar investment and loan transactions involving domestic and international parties. His practice also includes substantial work in energy transactions, project finance, economic development and real estate development.
